COLIN WELLS
Chairman
Colin Kenelm Wells' (60) early career was with Burroughs and IBM. He has held several senior positions in the ICT sector, including board roles at JBS Computer Services (a SaaS company), JBA plc (an ERP provider competing with Prologic prior to its takeover by Geac) and at CSG plc. Colin has high-level software sales and marketing experience with a track record of successfully growing and selling a SaaS company, building effective international sales teams, and driving business turnaround strategies.
SAM JACKSON
Managing Director
Sam graduated in physics at Sussex University. His early career was in scientific computing including work at the UK Atomic Energy Authority on control and instrumentation.
Sam subsequently worked on the development of a number of national standards including methods for assessing the performance of solar power systems which was subsequently adopted by the British Standards Institute.
He then moved into commercial computing, becoming IT manager at the British Board of Agrément with responsibility for sourcing and implementing commercial IT solutions. In 1984, he founded Prologic.
In addition to his role as Managing Director he performs the role of Technical Director, taking broad responsibility for setting technical goals with a view to directing the overall content of Prologic's software and other products.
DAVID PARRY
Finance Director
David, a qualified accountant, has held senior financial positions in the technology sector for 20 years and has significant experience of advising fast growing IT and communications companies.
He joined Prologic in 2002 and played a central role in the company's successful flotation on AIM in July 2004.
David was a founder director of BISS Limited, which he helped grow to a £20 million turnover systems integration business before leading its sale to Wang in 1995. He also played a key role in the restructuring of Tricom Communications Limited and in its sale to GK Communications Group Limited. The early part of David's career was spent with Philips and GEC.
MARK QUARTERMAINE
Non-Executive Director
Mark Richard Quartermaine (45), has highly relevant experience, and brings with him a strong network within the ICT and tier one retail sector. Mark is currently managing director of the BT public sector division having most recently been the director of the retail division of BT. He has held several other senior management positions including executive director at NSB Retail Solutions, worldwide director of retail marketing at IBM as well as running the IBM European point-of-sale business. Mark brings an in-depth knowledge of managing complex client sales in addition to extensive knowledge of different go-to-market models, including direct, reseller and wholesale channel experience.
PAUL LEIGHTON CLIFFORD
Non-Executive Director
Paul Leighton Clifford (56) qualified as a chartered accountant with Touche Ross (now Deloittes) and has spent over 25 years in growth technology companies. Paul holds two part time Finance Director roles at technology companies LiDCO (a listed company AIM:LID), and at Cityspace Limited.
Paul was previously at AIM quoted Civica plc, where he was Finance Director of its £80 million turnover operating subsidiary, Civica UK Limited, from 2006 until early 2008. Earlier, Paul was Group Finance Director of London Stock Exchange quoted software group Comino Group plc from 1996 until it was acquired by Civica plc in early 2006.
