COLIN WELLS
Chairman
Colin was a director of the Computer Software Group and Chairman of JBS Computer Services, an early SaaS provider, between 1999 and 2004. Prior to this he was joint Managing Director of Northern Europe for JBA plc (an ERP provider) before its takeover by GEAC. He was with the business for more than 11 years having previously been UK Sales Director and International Marketing Director. He also held a number of roles for IBM and Burroughs Machines over a sales career which dates back to 1969. Colin is also Chairman of Multistory, an arts organisation.
TOM FISCHER
Chief Executive Officer
Tom joined Prologic in 2010 bringing with him 20 years senior sales and general management experience. He has spent much of his career in retail application software, working for both early stage start-ups and major corporates. His previous roles include Vice President, Northern Europe at retail solutions vendor Retek Inc, joining the business pre-IPO and overseeing its rapid growth prior to its acquisition by Oracle. More recently, he was responsible for the UK retail division at SAP.
DAVID PARRY
Finance Director
David, a qualified accountant, has held senior financial positions in the technology sector for over 20 years and has significant experience in advising fast growing IT and communications companies. David was a founder director of BISS Limited, which he helped grow to a £20 million turnover, systems integration business before leading its sale to Wang in 1995. He also played a key role in the restructuring of Tricom Communications Limited and in its sale to GK Communications Group Limited. He joined Prologic in 2002 and played a central role in the Company's flotation on AIM in July 2004.
SAM JACKSON
Chief Technology Officer
Sam graduated in physics at Sussex University. His early career was in scientific computing, including work at the UK Atomic Energy Authority on control and instrumentation. Sam subsequently worked on the development of a number of national standards including methods for assessing the performance of solar power systems, which were subsequently adopted by the British Standards Institute. He then moved into commercial computing, becoming IT Manager at the British Board of Agrément with responsibility for sourcing and implementing commercial IT solutions. In 1984 he founded Prologic and was Managing Director until 2010.
MARK QUARTERMAINE
Non-Executive Director
Mark is currently CEO of Azzurri Communications and brings to Prologic highly relevant experience and a strong network within the ICT and tier one retail sector. He has held several other senior management positions including President of BT Global Services UK, executive director at NSB Retail Solutions, worldwide director of retail marketing at IBM as well as running the IBM European point of sale business.
PAUL LEIGHTON CLIFFORD
Non-Executive Director
Paul qualified as a chartered accountant with Touche Ross (now Deloittes) in 1975 and has spent nearly 30 years in finance positions in technology companies. He was formerly finance director of fully listed software company Comino Group. In 2006, Comino was acquired by AIM quoted Civica plc and Paul became Finance Director of Civica UK Limited, its main operating subsidiary, leaving in 2008. Paul is currently Finance Director of LiDCO Group plc, an AIM listed medical products company.
